Reform Governance®
Preparing America’s school district leaders to meet the education challenges of the 21st century
Each box in the framework outlined above represents a board responsibility. Linked together, these responsibilities constitute the work of the board. Two major characteristics of the framework are the striped horizontal line that indicates the division between governance and management – with the up and down arrows indicating that board members have no management authority but the superintendent is part of the governance team.
Reform Governance® in Action (RGA) is the CRSS training program that is based on this framework. It is the only program in the country that trains school leaders how to improve student learning through better governance. RGA brings together district teams for a series of training events where participants engage in deep learning about the program’s core concepts and leave prepared to lead their districts more effectively and confidently.
If your team is ready to start transforming your school district, we are ready to help.
