National Institute for School Boards

July 27-30, 2012
Santa Fe, New Mexico

The National Institute for School Boards is for board/superintendent teams and individual district leaders ready to lead transformational change in their school districts.  Distinguished experts in education reform will explore how to create and sustain higher performing school districts in the face of changing student populations, rising costs, and shrinking budgets.

Learn to navigate that wavy line between governance and management and how best to focus the power of effective governance teams  through original CRSS district case studies and small and large group discussions on teambuilding, district redesign, reform policies, and more.

The National Institute will take place at the Eldorado Hotel and Spa near the historic square in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Teaching faculty will include CRSS founder and board president Don McAdams, CRSS President and CEO Cathy Mincberg, Former U.S. Secretary of Education Rod Paige, Former Texas Commissioner of Education Mike Moses and other national education leaders.
