RGA for Mid-Urban Texas School Boards

Our groundbreaking Reform Governance® in Action training program, specially tailored for the needs of medium-sized urban school boards in Texas

CRSS is taking its highly rated flagship training program - originally developed for America’s largest urban school districts - and retooling it to suit the specific needs of medium-sized Texas districts.

Projected to start in early 2009, this three-phase, 15-month program will provide an in-depth learning experience for board members, superintendents, and senior administrators from school districts that fall outside the orbit of the state’s largest urban areas.  With funding from a Texas foundation, the program will be offered free of charge.  Leadership teams from 48 districts across the state of Texas are being invited to apply.

A Comprehensive Learning Experience in a Streamlined Format

This specially tailored version of our long-term Reform Governance® in Action (RGA) program will be streamlined to lessen the time commitment.  But our core curriculum and proven, case-based teaching methods will remain intact.  So too will the rigid quality standards for our faculty and RGA consultants be upheld.

The RGA program is designed for board-superintendent teams who are committed to high student achievement and effective, forward-thinking governance.  It will teach you how to close the achievement gap in your school district and assure that it meets the education challenges of the 21st century.
