Vita Dougherty manages logistics for CRSS conferences and collects information on participating school districts. She previously served as a research and project assistant for CRSS, coordinating logistics for several programs, including The Broad Institute, The Broad Alumni Institute, and Reform Governance® in Action. Before joining CRSS, Dougherty served as a student teacher at Windermere Primary School in the Pflugerville Independent School District and at Wells Branch Elementary School in the Round Rock Independent School District. She was also an administrative intern at Palmer Elementary in the Fort Bend Independent School District. Among her awards, Dougherty was named a Cactus Goodfellow, one of the oldest service and leadership awards at The University of Texas.
Dougherty holds a Master of Education in administration and supervision from the University of Houston.
