Texas Fellows Alumni Program
In four years, the Texas Institute for School Boards has trained more than 100 school board members representing some of the largest urban school districts in the state. To provide continuing support for the alumni of the Texas Institutes, CRSS has established the Texas Fellows Alumni Program.
As part of this support, we host special breakfast meetings for Texas Institute Fellows, including the full boards and superintendents from their districts, at the fall meetings of the Texas Association of School Boards. We hold annual Texas Institute for School Boards Alumni Retreats. We systematically connect with our fellows through Listserv communications and quarterly reading packets, which are focused on policy issues identified as high priority.
The next Texas Fellows Alumni Retreat will take place in February 2007 in The Woodlands, Texas. |
